What does it do?

Endomondo is your own personal trainer! Track your workouts using GPS to see exactly how far, fast and long your runs actually are. You can use the app to track almost any workout such as weight training, work on the treadmill or indoor cycling. Endomondo will give you the extra motivation you need whilst working out, telling you every time you run a mile/kilometre and how many calories you are burning. With the Endomondo Pro version, you can run against yourself with the clever ‘Beat Yourself’ feature that means you get updates during your workout as to how you are faring against your previous self!

What’s the verdict?

This is a great app for those who want to know if and how they are progressing in their workouts. It can be much more rewarding to know exactly how much you have improved in a certain area, and this app provides that. The ‘Beat Yourself’ feature is really effective, letting you know mid-workout if you are ahead of your last effort, or if you need to get the pace up!
