What does it do?
Exactly what it says on the tin! Browse radio stations from around the world and listen to them through the TuneIn Radio app. Search for radio stations through various categories as well as by language and location. Apart from the usual radio stations you can browse through a variety of Podcasts so you can catch up on radio highlights from the week. There’s also a handy little feature for when you’re in the car, enabling the car mode flips the screen in to a very simple menu giving you quick access to all the important features.
What’s the verdict?
TuneIn Radio is a great little app. With a simple user interface, its easy to navigate to find your favourite radio station. The recommended feature is a nice touch, pressing it takes you to a list of radio stations which are deemed to be similar to stations you have listened to in the past, so if you’re starting to get bored of listening to the same old radio stations then this is perfect for you. The car mode is very useful, but only if you have a mount in the car, nobody should be looking down at their phone while driving of course! When you want to listen to the radio all you need is a simple app that gets you to your station fast, and this app does that with ease. A simple and easy app to use with great functionality, very much recommended!
