What’s eating your storage space on your iOS device?
If your iPhone is running out of storage space, your only option is to delete apps and data that currently take up too much room on your device. Once you’ve purchased your iPhone, whether it be 16GB, 32GB or 64GB, you can’t add any extra storage space so managing the space you already have, becomes even more important.
There are a few simple steps you can take to show you exactly what’s using your storage from most to least. Here’s how to get there:
1. Go to Settings
2. Select General and then Usage
3. Here you will be able to see all your apps down the left hand side and how much space they are consuming on the right. From here you can decide which apps you can delete, if they are taking up too much room but you hardly ever use them.
4. To delete the apps you no longer wish to use, simply select the app and press ‘Delete app’.
This will speed up your device and generally make your phone run a lot smoother. It also leaves room for you to download more music, take more pictures and install more apps for your enjoyment!
