What does it do?
GarageBand is packed full of instruments and can be used as a fully featured recording studio so you can make music anywhere! Making use of Multi-Touch to allow you to play a whole host of different instruments. Not only are there the software instruments you can also record/capture real instruments using the built in microphone or using 3rd party adaptors you can connect your instruments to record directly. You can mix up to eight tracks/instruments to create you master piece and share it in Email, Facebook, Youtube and SoundCloud.
What’s the verdict?
This app really shows what truly powerful devices the iPhone and iPad are bring a powerful desktop app to the palm of your hand! With the range of smart instruments even if you have never played a note before you can play a piano like Beethoven and slay the electric guitar like Hendrix! With playback through classic amps and use of stomp box’s there no feature to hold you back! The Jam Session also allows you to connect up to 3 other iOS devices with the App so you can start your own “Garage Band!” Hats off to apple for making this one of the best app we have seen here at izzyj!
